Leveled Up: Class Stats and Gear

During the tutorial, within the first few quests, you will encounter quest rewards that offer you a choice of equipment item.  Knowing the "stats" important to your class will help you choose the best gear for you, making your progress easier in the future.

Tips and Tricks: Starting Zone - What I wish I knew at level 1

Hour 2:  You have your soul point spent, and your ready to begin your journey.  The first step is to journey through your factions starting zone and learn the basic movement, combat, and quest formats.

Hour 2: The cinematic is over, you've gotten a very visual introduction to your faction, and now your almost ready to get out there and push those planer foes back.  There are a few more things you need to tend to before your really ready.  The first, and most important is to finalize your soul.

Hour 1: The next character customization screen is the meat and potatoes of the customization process.  This is where you will make your character an individual.  The customization screen is the last of the pre-game set up.  Once you click ok on this final screen you will be launched into the game.

Hour 1:  After you choose your race, you will be asked to choose your class.  Your class choices will play a large part in the type of combat you will experience and your roles at later points in the game.

Hour 1: The next stage of character creation is to choose your race.  You may choose to pick your race based on visual appeal, lore, racial abilities or faction.*  Closely related to race selection is the customization of your character. Which I will tackle in a future post.
