Welcome to Szophie Plays Rift, one players experiences in Rift.
Rift, the AAA MMORPG from Trion World, has been gaining press time in recent weeks for its decision to switch to the Free to Play offering model. Coming on June 21, 2013, with update patch 2.3 - Empyreal Assault, everyone is invited to download the game, both classic and the first expansion - for free - and play up to maximum level - for free. To quote the producers "no trials, no tricks, no traps".
The current community, even before this milestone event, has seen massive growth. Szophie Plays Rift, is my welcome letter to all of those new to MMO's or new to our community who are learning the ropes. Here you will find my experience in game, from things as basic as quest progression, to more complex aspects of rift, such as soul tree building. I also hope to touch on different aspects of our community such as RolePlaying, Raiding, and Dimensioneering.
